Uruguay - Destination Punta del Este, special guest at SIMA 2012
SIMA2012 announces the arrival of Uruguay as the guest country this year. Through this initiative SIMA intends to underline Uruguay’s role as an eminently secure and profitable destination for international investment, stressing the importance in this regard of its privileged strategic position as Business Hub in the continent’s Southern Cone.
SIMA 2012 makes a firm commitment to Uruguay and hopes that its position as special guest may serve as a vehicle for highlighting the benefits of the country as an investment destination, thereby bringing in investors for residential, commercial, office-space, hotel and infrastructure projects.
To achieve the objective of achieving the highest profile and the greatest level of corporate and institutional participation, SIMA will be working in conjunction with Destination Punta del Este and the Uruguayan Tourism Ministry, so that together this initiative may reach the greatest possible number of Spanish and Uruguayan associations and institutions representing the target sectors, in such a way as to ensure the widest attendance for enterprises from both countries.
