The annual edition of the ASPRIMA-SIMA International Real Estate Awards is aimed at the public recognition of real estate actions that stand out for the overall conception of the project, the quality of its execution, its adaptation and integration in its setting or the incorporation of innovative technical, commercial or marketing elements.
In their 2009 edition, the awards comprised the following categories:
1. Best residential real estate action.
Newly-built free-market housing.
Privately-funded newly-built protected-market housing.
Publicly-funded newly-built protected-market housing.
2. Best rehabilitation or remodelling action.
3. Best real estate action in the tourism sector.
4. Best non-residential real estate action.
5. Best urban planning or remodelling action.
6. Best international real estate project.
7. Best sustainable technologyinitiative in buildings.
8. Best communication and/or marketing strategy in the real estate sector.
9. Best Corporate Social Responsibility initiative in the real estate sector.
10. Special Asprima Foundation Prize: Ideas. Competition open to newly-qualified architects and students of Architecture.
